This video explains how your actions when watching videos on YouTube affect the outcome of the video. I go through 11 ways to help your favorite artists for free and four ways to help them financially. I accidently added 5 minutes of dead air at the end so disregard this. Oopsy daisy!
Today’s image is from Rita Berman’s Gelato image in Meine Reise durch Europa. I had a request to do voice narration over my coloring. So this video is sped up a little and is narrated throughout the entire process. Miss Ellie (dogger) and my new grandson Macallan make cameo appearances.
I use Polychromos colored pencils throughout.

While it looks like I used a lot of pencils, I did, but look at how many are just versions of the same hue (color). This can bring depth to a picture.

I used Arrtx colored pencils and Mungyo pastels in Johanna Basford’s World of Flowers. I am not completely satisfied with this one. I think I may have preferred it to have dark blue in the corners radiating out to light blue to form a circle around the main image. Let me know your thoughts, I’d be curious to hear what you think.
I used Arrtx colored pencils. This was the first time I had used these pencils in a coloring book. I am not sure what I think about them. I tested and swatched them on Springhill Bristol paper and I definitely prefer them on the Springhill Bristol paper. They did not blend as well in the Johanna Basford book. I will use them again and let you know my thoughts. If you had used these, let me know what you think of them.

As always, I appreciate you stopping by. Oh and a little smiling baby action to make your day. Macallan is two weeks old in this photo. He is such a content and happy baby.
Enjoy a flip thru of this tropical coloring book full of images of fish, water and other marine life. This Creative Haven book is similar to other books in that the pages are one sided, perforated and of standard coloring book paper. The images are drawn by Marty Noble. If you like coloring fish and other ocean marine life this one is for you.
Click the button below to take you to my YouTube channel for a short flip through.
This Creative Haven Coloring Book is filled with fun and playful images of birds to color. The paper is what you would expect from Creative Havens books; one sided, perforated and standard coloring book paper. Angela Porter brings her unique style to these birds. Join me on YouTube for a look inside to see if this book is just what you need to let your imagination take flight.
A quick flip through of this coloring book from Fabiana Attanasio. It is a book of Tarot, Astrology and Mythical symbols. The book is one sided so you can use alcohol markers. The pages are perforated if you prefer to remove them from your book prior to coloring. The paper is good, while not heavy duty, it is of good quality, much like that of Kerby Rosanes books.
Join me on YouTube and look at each page to see if this is the coloring book for you or just to relax and appreciate the fun images
Do you struggle to find the pencil you are looking for?
Do you dread having to put your pencils away?
Are your pencils in a bin where you have to hunt for minutes to find the one you are looking for?
If you answered yes to any of these, or if you just want a better system, please watch my video on how I organize my pencils. It has truly been a lifesaver for me.
