Hey Guys Jazzy Here.  Mama had to work today and asked me to post this card for you.   My daddy is a UPS guy so I really like all the mail people, they give me treats.  Speaking of treats, I need to hurry so I can go get mine.  I hope it is a bone like this dog has. (licking lips)

Fiskars For the Birds

Hi Guys,  Me again.  Today’s card is a general best wishes card.  I wanted to play with my distressed inks and thought these beautiful stamps from Fiskars called  For the Birds would be the perfect stamps to employ an emboss resist technique. I have had these stamps for awhile now and just haven’t pulled them out.

I started out by embossing the stamp using  Ranger super fine clear embossing powder on white card stock.  I then cut out the image with a circle nestability die.  I then sponged the circle using Tumbled Glass and Broken China.  I put just a hint of Faded Jeans on the edge. The frame was two scalloped oval nestability dies first dry embossed and then cut.  I put both on the cuttlebug at the same time.  I then inked the brown card stock, the patterned paper and the frame with Walnut stain Distress ink. (sorry I don’t know the brand of paper)  I used a woodgrain stamp from Stampabilities inked with Frayed Burlap to create the background of the oval. The pearls and white ribbon are both from Michaels.  I used the smallest scalloped Petite oval nestability for the sentiment.  The sentiment itself was from Stampin’ Up short and sweet.

I love how it turned out.  This could be for a man or woman.  Love that!!

Thanks for looking.

Welcome to Jazzydoodle Designs

I started this blog because my spoiled little companion got tired of me waking her from her nap to look at what I created. And frankly, her response of “not as cute as I am…can I have a treat?” was not very helpful nor gratifying.

I hope you find some enjoyment, knowledge or just plain relief from your boredom while looking.

So now I am a blogger with a dogger.
