Happy New Year, OK I know, I am a little late LOL. I hope this post finds you all enjoying the new year. So far it has been a good one for me. It has been busy though. But I do have some good news to share. My son and his lovely wife are moving back to Colorado!! Beryl is moving here next month and Nathan will follow this summer when his tour ends. I am so excited.

Well anyway on to why you came… Today’s card is from, surprise, Simply Betty Stamps. It is Cupid Betty. I just love her.

I used papers from Recollections Valentine. Spellbinders Floral Ovals, Distress Ink Worn Lipstick. Ribbon is from Michaels Celebrate it Valentine.

Well I am back from my retreat. I must say, I had such a fabulous time! Betty was the ultimate hostess, the location was lush and the ladies I met there were the best. I hope to be able to attend the next one. I will let you know when the next one is so that you might join us. 🙂

Happy Sunday!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Things are finally starting to settle down a bit here. Lonnie’s 90-year-old grandma has been staying with us as the road to her home in Lyons is gone. It will probably take over a year for it to be passable. Major sections of the main highway to her house are washed out and her mountain road is simply gone. It is quite difficult to even grasp the amount of damage this storm has caused. But I do wish to thank you all for your concerns and well wishes. We are truly blessed that we all are safe.

I have had little time for crafting but I do have a cute Halloween card to share.

Hello Happy September! I cannot believe that it is fall. Where did the summer go? I wish to thank you for your patience this summer. It was a busy one for sure. I hope to get back to blogging more frequently.

I’ll start today with a card for the Simply B stamps challenge. Betty is so generous and gives us a free stamp to use each month. I absolutely love this months. Here name is Mercedes. Isn’t she just Witchin’?
