So I thought while I was on a roll that I might just make one post of some of the Christmas cards I made this season.   If you want additional info on name of the stamp, colors or papers used, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask.  I would be happy to help.

I CASED a couple of these cards.  The Lovely as a tree rustic card was CASED from http://glendasblog.com/01/07/hardwood-and-lovely-as-a-tree/    the Poinsettia was CASED from http://sweetpeasamplings.blogspot.com/2011/12/winding-down.html  and the blue Lovely as a tree from Wizards Hangout . Also the festive flurries card was from a card on pinterest.  http://www.pinterest.com/pin/149604018847593364   I tried to find it on the posters blog but couldn’t .  I would like to thank them for the inspiration.

Happy New Year,  OK I know, I am a little late LOL.  I hope this post finds you all enjoying the new year.  So far it has been a good one for me.  It has been busy though.  But I do have some good news to share.  My son and his lovely wife are moving back to Colorado!!   Beryl is moving here next month and Nathan will follow this summer when his tour ends.  I am so excited.

Well anyway on to why you came… Today’s card is from, surprise, Simply Betty Stamps.  It is Cupid Betty.  I just love her.

Cupid BettyI used papers from Recollections Valentine. Spellbinders Floral Ovals, Distress Ink Worn Lipstick.  Ribbon is from Michaels Celebrate it Valentine.

Well here is the last blog for this month’s challenges.

Anything but a card bagThis is for the Teen Line Anything but a card.  The bag is an old Christmas bag that I recycled.  The papers are from Summer Fresh from Simple Stories.  The happy birthday is a card tag that I bought from Joann’s eons ago.  The image was colored with copics but a while back when I didn’t write things down.  Sorry.

The next card is for the favorite techniques challenge.  Layering is a technique I use on almost all my cards.  Also coloring with Copics LOL

This card is for the Emo challenge.  It could also be used in the smart A$$ challenge as well.

Emo Victorianinside Emo VictorianOutside: Happy Birthday Old Friend.. Inside: No, really…You’re old.  It is just kraft cardstock cut down to 2.75 X 5.5 and scrap paper added inked with Distressed Walnut Ink and the sentiment is computer generated. Copics: E30,31,33,35,37,39; E50,51,53,55,57; E40,41,42,43,44

The last card is for CORINNE.  Yes, here is your Smart A$$ card.  There are you happy now whip cracker. LOL.  Corinne is one of the administrators at Simply B Stamps.  She does a fabulous job keeping all 500+ members straightened out.  We all give her a hard time though.  Don’t worry she gives more than she gets. 🙂  I just love the gals in this group.
