Hello,

Just a quick little post to let you all know about a free digi stamp that Simply B Stamps is giving away. You must use the image- dark colors for bad and brighter colors for the good and post your project on your blog. That is it. Easy Peasy. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be good or bad so I went with both. You can find her here on Simply B Stamps Facebook Fan page. Come over an join us there. Happy Monday!! I hope everyone’s week is off to a fabulous start. I have been off elk hunting this last week and after logging many miles and some mechanical difficulties we managed to get an awesome elk. This hunt was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I guess what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right? LOL This weekend was spent processing the meat into steaks and jerky. I did manage to steal a couple of hours in my craft room. YEAH So I thought I better get this month’s challenge completed.

The first is fortune teller Betty. I thought this sentiment was funny! ok I am a little off I know. Still makes me giggle.

The second is Voodoo Corinne, she is our fabulous administrator and we all pick on her. Don’t you fret though, she gives as good as she gets. She is always saying she is going to stick another pin in me. (I don’t know why, I am ALWAYS soo nice to her LMAO) so I thought this sentiment appropriate. It says “Hey, Corinne, did you ever notice that your pincushion looks just like me..hmm?”

Happy Sunday!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Things are finally starting to settle down a bit here. Lonnie’s 90-year-old grandma has been staying with us as the road to her home in Lyons is gone. It will probably take over a year for it to be passable. Major sections of the main highway to her house are washed out and her mountain road is simply gone. It is quite difficult to even grasp the amount of damage this storm has caused. But I do wish to thank you all for your concerns and well wishes. We are truly blessed that we all are safe.

I have had little time for crafting but I do have a cute Halloween card to share.

Hello Happy September! I cannot believe that it is fall. Where did the summer go? I wish to thank you for your patience this summer. It was a busy one for sure. I hope to get back to blogging more frequently.

I’ll start today with a card for the Simply B stamps challenge. Betty is so generous and gives us a free stamp to use each month. I absolutely love this months. Here name is Mercedes. Isn’t she just Witchin’?

Well Helllooo!

I know that I am way behind on my blog posts. Partially because I have been busy, but also because I have been in a slump. BUT… I have shifted gears and have dove head first into card making again.

But before I start posting the cards, I would like to share a couple of things from my trip to visit my son and his lovely lady and my adorable grand dog. Then, starting tomorrow, I will begin posting some Christmas cards.

We had a great time. We mainly just hung out and enjoyed each others company but we did volunteer at the Food Bank and even did some crafting. It was over Halloween so we did some decorating of the apartment stairwells in hopes of letting the kids know we had treats for them. But alas, not one trick or treater. 🙁 Below are some pictures of the trip. The first photo is of a Harrier jet that bears my son’s name. Cool huh. Then the cute Mr. Socks (Don’t tell Jazz, but I think he is pretty cute!); the pumpkins we carved; some masks that the kids made; yummy cupcakes; Snow White Beryl and Mr. Socks; the stairwell and some chocolate yummies Miss Beryl made. I miss them already!
