Happy Monday!! I hope everyone’s week is off to a fabulous start. I have been off elk hunting this last week and after logging many miles and some mechanical difficulties we managed to get an awesome elk. This hunt was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I guess what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right? LOL This weekend was spent processing the meat into steaks and jerky. I did manage to steal a couple of hours in my craft room. YEAH So I thought I better get this month’s challenge completed.

The first is fortune teller Betty. I thought this sentiment was funny! ok I am a little off I know. Still makes me giggle.

The second is Voodoo Corinne, she is our fabulous administrator and we all pick on her. Don’t you fret though, she gives as good as she gets. She is always saying she is going to stick another pin in me. (I don’t know why, I am ALWAYS soo nice to her LMAO) so I thought this sentiment appropriate. It says “Hey, Corinne, did you ever notice that your pincushion looks just like me..hmm?”

Hello Happy September! I cannot believe that it is fall. Where did the summer go? I wish to thank you for your patience this summer. It was a busy one for sure. I hope to get back to blogging more frequently.

I’ll start today with a card for the Simply B stamps challenge. Betty is so generous and gives us a free stamp to use each month. I absolutely love this months. Here name is Mercedes. Isn’t she just Witchin’?

Well here is the last blog for this month’s challenges.

This is for the Teen Line Anything but a card. The bag is an old Christmas bag that I recycled. The papers are from Summer Fresh from Simple Stories. The happy birthday is a card tag that I bought from Joann’s eons ago. The image was colored with copics but a while back when I didn’t write things down. Sorry.

The next card is for the favorite techniques challenge. Layering is a technique I use on almost all my cards. Also coloring with Copics LOL

This card is for the Emo challenge. It could also be used in the smart A$$ challenge as well.

Outside: Happy Birthday Old Friend.. Inside: No, really…You’re old. It is just kraft cardstock cut down to 2.75 X 5.5 and scrap paper added inked with Distressed Walnut Ink and the sentiment is computer generated. Copics: E30,31,33,35,37,39; E50,51,53,55,57; E40,41,42,43,44

The last card is for CORINNE. Yes, here is your Smart A$$ card. There are you happy now whip cracker. LOL. Corinne is one of the administrators at Simply B Stamps. She does a fabulous job keeping all 500+ members straightened out. We all give her a hard time though. Don’t worry she gives more than she gets. 🙂 I just love the gals in this group.

Hey there all my little blogger friends. Is everyone ready for the 4th of July? I am! My son is coming home for a week! Can I get a whoop whoop! We plan on doing some camping and fishing and in general staying high in the mountains away from the heat. He is currently living in Yuma, Arizona where the temps are in the 110-120 (43-48 for my European friends) degrees daily so our mild 100 degrees should be a welcome change LOL.

Anyway, back to crafty stuff. Today’s card is Summer by Simply B Stamps. Every month Miss Betty gives us a free digi to use for a monthly challenge. I LOVE this image! The challenge was to make your own background, not stamped. I used my alcohol inks to make the background and my Spellbinders Flourish 2 and EK Success Patterned Circles punch.

Hello all my little bloggy friends. How are you all doing? I am so sorry that it has been so long since we last chatted. I struggled with a bad bout of bronchitis and then I went on vacation. I will post some pictures from the trip for those that are interested.

Today is the day that I can finally show all of you the AWESOME things I received from my new friend Kathy. I was so lucky to get her from my swap partner. In there are stamps from LOTV and Wild Rose, A fun bottle cap embossing folder, bottle caps, pretty paper and ribbons. Cupcake Brads, A wonderful magnet with an Irish Blessing for my fridge, Cookies for the dogger and Chocolate for me!! But the best thing I got was a new friend.
