Good Morning!
I thought you might like to see what I did with my kaleidoscope cane from yesterdays post. I used the slices to cover an egg. Yep, it’s a real egg. I blew out the egg, dried it and covered it in clay and baked it. Please don’t look to close as I am still learning/floundering to figure out how to line everything up. Anyway, here it is:
Thank you for looking.
Wendy and Jazzer
What mistakes are you talking about? I think this is fantastic! The coloring is amazing and this must of took you forever. Great job.
Wow! again. Love this. I want to have a go at this…. now…. today!!! Stunning work Wendy.

Oh Florence you are too kind. I have fun with the clay. You can do so many things with it. Hope to see you dabble in it soon.
wendy – that egg is beautiful – what a talented person you are – and you got it from me — the untapped portion of me, of course — truly though you are fantastic!!!!!!
Thanks Mom! and yes I did get it from you,
Amazing egg you made! The canes were already beautiful, but you made something even more beautiful out of it. It is just perfect, the colours, the design. I love it!
Thank you Anne! I had fun.
Hi wendy,
It must have been such a nerfwrecking task to get that clay on the egg without cracking it. It looks awsome.
Thank you so much. On most of my eggs I just put the canes on the eggshell directly. This egg though I put a thin layer of clay on– baked it and then added the canes so that it would easier to work with.
