Hey Gang… we made it half way through the week…

Happy Easter Everyone!

I hope you all had lovely days spent with family and friends. Here at Jazzydoodle we had a weekend spent working on the house. It is finally painted and if you tune in tomorrow I will show you the before, during and after photos. (if you are interested)

I am sorry that I have been such a poor blogger but the home projects have taken us a lot longer than I had planned. Please be patient with me for a couple more weeks and I should be back on track.

The photo above is from my front yard. I love daffodils. Every thing about them. I love that when they arrive it means spring is here. I love the lovely yellow color. But I especially love the fact that they come up year after year for this poor pitiful gardener.

Wishing you all well and I hope to have some posts for your intermittently these next two weeks.

Hi Guys. Well I said I would try to get a post on Monday and here it is on Thursday. So sorry. I can’t even tell you all the work we have put into our home recently. Not to mention working full-time. whew.. thank you guys for your patience.

Anyway, last night I set out to make an Easter card with the image I had colored. Have you ever had a card that just wouldn’t come together? I thought I had a sketch, I thought I had picked out patterned papers but I just couldn’t make it work. I tried different papers. Finally, I gave up, threw out everything but the image and started over. It came together pretty quickly after that. The butterfly was found on my desk. I had cut it out to try out my new die from Cheery Lynn Designs. It was the perfect final touch. I used diamond stickles to add the extra punch. I am pretty pleased with the results.
